COVID-19 has been a literal wrecking ball to the restaurant industry. And if you’ve been following the news, so many small businesses have not been able to get the financial support they need. Because of that, one local business has made the decision to shut down….. for now.
Grinning Goblin Gaming Tavern made the announcement overnight that they decided not to reopen. In the statement they said, “In the end, the Government’s inability to help small businesses, our Landlords still demanding rent, and the costs of the forced shutdown proved too great for our small establishment to withstand.”
The tavern which had video games and board games also had a full menu was located at 1625 S. Rock Road.
They did leave the door open for a return and plan to leave their Facebook page active if you want to stay up to date.
