Connie’s Mexico Cafe temporarily closed as of today after positive COVID-19 test

This makes it restaurant number four for a COVID-19 related temporary closing after an employee tested positive for COVID-19. Connie’s Mexico Cafe at 2227 N Broadway announced on their Facebook page Monday evening the following:

Jose Peppers was the first restaurant to voluntarily close but has since reopened as has Paleteria Tropicana. Stroud’s which closed over the weekend has yet to reopen.
