Back in April 2019, Fetch Bistro closed permanently after their appearance on Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours To Hell and Back. Since then, the space has set empty until now perhaps.
A source tells me that an experienced chef here at many restaurants in town has taken over the Fetch Bistro space at 7718 E 37th St N and plans to open an Italian concept with handmade pastas and pizzas.
No other details have been released but this is something to keep an eye on. The intersection of 37th and Rock Road has been tough on restaurants with closings of places like Molino’s Northeast, Fetch Bistro, Pacific Coast Pizza, Orange Leaf, Linkhaus and U Grill over the past ten years. But perhaps the right restaurant that can execute on service and food would be a hit given all the businesses in the area along with Willowbend neighborhood and Bel Aire not too far away.
I’ve heard a few rumors over the past year on potential places that could open up here but this one has a bit more bite to it than other rumors I’ve been told. Of course restaurant plans can fall through but I will try to dig a little more to see what I can find. Stay tuned for more.
Happy Dining,
Eddy
