It’s something they didn’t want to do but given the economic state and the coronavirus, Gabby’s Peruvian Carryout will be closing for good this weekend. Their last day of business will be Sunday, August 16.
The restaurant located at 1002 S. Seneca originally opened in 2016 and moved to where they are located at now at in 2018.
Gabby’s has been one of my favorite restaurants ever since I came across them at their old location on east Douglas. This is a huge blow to our dining scene as they offered something not often found at restaurants here.
I spoke to the owner, and they will only be open for to go orders and pick up on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 12pm and 7pm. They will also take reservations for small groups only in advance.

If you’ve never been to Gabby’s Peruvian Carryout, they serve many Peruvian dishes like fried tilapia, yuca, chicharron, flan and many other dishes.
I don’t ask of much here on the blog but if you could give them one last round of love and support, it’d be greatly appreciated. Gabby’s deserves a warm send-off for putting out great food in our community for many years.
For more check out their Facebook page. Here’s their final menu as well:
Happy Dining,
Eddy
