Noodles & Company inside Towne East Square has closed due to a plumbing issue in the mall that caused some damage to the restaurant. Not just closed temporarily but permanently. Sources have told me that the issue that occurred was the final nail in the coffin for the restaurant which has already been struggling in 2020.
After talking with an employee at Noodles & Company, they did confirm the closing and rumors that the restaurant was likely closing. The Noodles & Company corporate website also recently removed Towne East from their locations listing. A reader also posted that a permanently closed sign has now appeared on their door.
The international and American noodles dish and pasta chain based out of Colorado has been in Wichita for around a decade. Their Towne East location was the first one to arrive in Wichita. There’s currently another location at 3300 N Rock Road.
