Wichita City Council approves $10.2 million STAR bond funding for TopGolf

In a vote of 4-3, the city of Wichita approved $10.2 million in STAR bond funding for the TopGolf facility which will take place near K-96 and Greenwich across the street from the Stryker Sports Complex.

The motion was approved by Mayor Brandon Whipple and council members Becky Tuttle, Cindy Claycomb and Bryan Frye and voted down by council members Brandon Johnson, Jeff Blubaugh and Jared Cerullo.

The $10.2 million will go towards the $25.8 million that is expected to be the cost of the new double-deck facility.
