Calling all McRib fans! The popular and polarizing barbecue pork sandwich will return to McDonald’s nationwide Nov. 1. This is essentially a month earlier than 2020 and just in time to order a ton for your Thanksgiving potlucks.
The pork sandwich which garners so much love and hate made its debut in 1981 in Kansas City, KS of all cities then went national a year later. The limited-time factor brought on a lot of attention, especially during the holiday season when it appears.
Be on the lookout in late October, though. Often times, different McDonald’s locations will make the sandwich available well before the official release date.
One of the best ways to find a McRib is by using a website called McRib Locator. It’s a way for McRib fans to point out where they have found the sandwich.
