Earlier this week, DeFazio’s announced they were closing permanently. The closing was sudden and gave diners no chance to get one last final time to eat their food…. until now.
On Saturday, Oct. 9, the Italian restaurant at 2706 N. Amidon will offer just that. They will be hosting a day of DeFazio’s favorites plus a chance to use any gift cards you may have between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.
They will be selling items that are only available for carryout. All items will be refrigerated or frozen, nothing will be sold hot. More items may be added to this list. Be sure to come early as all quantities are limited. This will also give patrons the opportunity to use their gift cards or be reimbursed the balance on their cards.
The dishes include:
– Italian dressing
– Pickled eggplant
– Cream of mushroom soup
– Minestrone soup
– Ground Italian sausage
– Marinara sauce
– Meat sauce
– Meatballs
– Lasagna take and bake
– Manicotti take and bake
– Chicken parmesan take and bake
– Gallon jars of cherry peppers
– Gallon jars of pepperoncini
– Cream puffs
I just want to say how classy is that of DeFazio’s? Not many restaurants reopen for one day to let their customers get reimbursed for their gift cards.
