Wichita's Littlest Heroes biggest night of the year returns with The 2021 Bravery Ball

Have you ever heard of Wichita’s Littlest Heroes?

They are a local nonprofit serving families with children and teenagers fighting life-threatening medical conditions. These kids are in and out of the hospital and live with a schedule revolving around treatments and procedures. Wichita’s Littlest Heroes fills pediatric gaps throughout Kansas by providing education, resources, advocacy, celebration, and free, fun family activities. Through these resources, Wichita’s Littlest Heroes ensures families across Kansas are connected, supported, and taken care of with the overall goal of bringing hope, help and happiness.

One of their biggest fundraisers and parties of the year takes place on Saturday, Oct. 9 at the Crown Uptown starting at 5:30 p.m.

The 2021 Bravery Ball serves as a major evening to raise critical funds to keep the mission of hope growing strong. Funds raised by Bravery Ball ensure that families are able to afford trips to the specialist appointments, pay utility bills, and have hope brought to hospital rooms. Bravery Ball allows families to enjoy the local zoos and museums for free, gives children access to art therapy, and provides endless opportunities for families to gather and for Little Heroes to forget the medical hardships and simply enjoy being kids.

This black tie gala is an evening filled with cocktails, dinner, live music, stories of hope and a showcase by Hero kids themselves. Bravery Ball is at the Crown Uptown Theater this year and features a live and silent auction. Individual tickets are $125, or tables for 8 can be purchased for $875. This evening of impact is the perfect excuse to grab friends, get out the best dressed and make a difference in the lives of over 500 Kansas families.
