A fun, Instagrammable and photo-filled experience is opening on May 1 at 1811 E. Douglas. It’s The Selfie Spot, which is owned by local photographer Ashlie Enders and her husband, Dillon Enders.
The Selfie Spot will have 13 Instagram-worthy selfie booths that are 8 feet by 8 feet. Their plan is to change the themes out frequently, so people can come again and again and see something new. It’s quite brilliant actually as our oldest who is the perfect demographic tends to dress up with her friends and go take pictures around the city together. I’ve seen businesses like this growing around the country, and it was only a matter of time until it arrived in Wichita.
Once The Selfie Spot is open, their hours of operation will be Friday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Buying tickets online through their website is highly encouraged, as they’ll only have 12 tickets available per hour. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $10 for kids 5-12 and free for children 4 and under. The ticket gives you one hour of time exploring the 13 selfie spots, ring lights for your cameras or cell phones, and a changing room if you would like to bring outfits for different setups. Private times are available on weekdays and evenings for photographers, as well as private times for groups.
