Something new is opening at the end of the month in Wichita. The Japanese restaurant, T-Swirl Crêpe, will celebrate their grand opening on Friday, Jan. 27 between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Located at 2341 N. Greenwich Road, it’ll be the latest opening for the area of town that continues to grow and grow.
The public is invited to celebrate the occasion and to experience their highly skilled crêpe artists masterful flavor combinations that entertain your palate and high five your belly. Sample the food and drinks, celebrate the ribbon cutting taking place hosted by the Greater Wichita Chamber of Commerce. The grand opening will include food samples, drink samples, and live Lion Dance performers from the St. Anthony’s Lion & Dragon Dance and Live Music spinning from DJ Carbon.
“Crepes are usually my go-to snack when I’m spending time with my family at food truck events,” said Nga Le, Owner. “I’m familiar with the taste of traditional French crepes, in fact, I usually make them at home myself, but a Japanese-style crepe is not quite the same. The thin, soft, yet crispy crepe combined with unique ingredients keeps me craving for more. I want to share this culinary experience with the Wichita community by opening a T-Swirl Crepe here.”
This new restaurant caters to every diner with both sweet and savory crepes, each made with 100-percent gluten-free rice flour batter.
According to their website, they have 28 sweet and savory options to choose from. Prices can range anywhere from $6-12 depending on what you get. These concoctions and include everything from fruit, chocolate, and cheesecake to bacon, short ribs and salads.
