I was in the New Market Square area today and decided to drop in to Bed, Bath & Beyond at 2441 N. Maize Road. News was going out that they were going to be closing, and an employee confirmed the news.
The store looked like a ghost town inside, and signs were up for a liquidation sell of all items.
I have to admit, there was a sad vibe going on in the store.
There were already rumors taking place that this location would close following the company’s announcement that 87 stores would be closed.
No official date has been given for the store’s final day. They did note that the popular 20% off coupon would not be valid.
Meanwhile, their east side location at 2750 N Greenwich Ct. will still operate as usual.
