Frost has changed the way I look at oatmeal creme pies

One thing I promised to do was return to the College Hill dessert shop, Frost. I’ve only had their ice cream, but wanted to venture out and get something different. That’s when people suggested I get their oatmeal creme pies.

I’ve eaten thousands of oatmeal creme pies throughout life, granted they were all made by my childhood friend, Little Debbie. I was told that if I loved the treats, I had to go to Frost and try the homemade version. They are always on hand at Frost in their dessert section and run $3.50 each.

I went ahead and picked up two.

Seriously, the first bite changed the way I looked at oatmeal creme pies forever. It was thicker, richer, creamier, more filling and simply just better. The creme filling brought an added sweetness that hit exactly what my sweet tooth was searching for.

It was what everybody said it’d be and more.

And only because I saw it on their Facebook page, I also had an ice cream sandwich. This sandwich was two peanut butter cookies stuffed with dark chocolate ice cream.
