Evolve: Spring 2023
What to do in Wichita
In case you missed it, the Spring Evolve Guide for 2023 is available now at wichita.gov/evolve.
Have you ever taken a class or participated in an activity put on at CityArts or Wichita Parks & Rec? It’s one of the most affordable ways to learn a new skill, start a new hobby, get your kids active in something, pick up some tips at home or in the kitchen, the options are truly endless.
You can also get information on rentals at many of the city properties, like the parks in town.
The categories of classes include aquatics, books & reading, camps & childcare, community education, current events, digital media & technology, facility rentals, film, fitness health & wellness, hobbies & leisure, sports, tennis & pickleball, and visual & performing arts. There’s something in it for infants and toddlers, all the way up to as high as you can count.
Some classes that caught my eye were cooking classes, creative photography, and Spanish basics. Those interested can check out the guide here: wichita.gov/evolve or via this link.
