What should the cultural arts scene in Wichita look like? Let your voice be heard

The City of Wichita is needing your opinion on the cultural arts scene!

As they shape the future of the arts and cultural services in our community, they want to hear from people in our community.

Take this short survey, which is open until June 30, and let the city know what you think the future of arts in Wichita should look like.

It’s a quick survey that runs asks such questions as what organizations you have engaged with, types of programming that should be provided, accessibility, barriers, and other important things that could very well shape the future.

For instance, one of the things I’ve found hard is exactly what is taking place in the arts scene. I feel relatively connected to things in our city. But when it comes to the cultural arts, I think there’s a disconnect in what is going on, what’s offered and how that information is put out into the public.

Maybe… just perhaps it may be time to add an arts calendar to go along with our Event Calendar, Live Music Schedule and Food Truck Listing.

A community survey event will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20 at City Arts (334 N. Mead).
