■ 5th Annual ICT PIckle Fest | June 3
Where: reBorn boutique & marketplace
June 3rd is our 5th Annual ICT Pickle Fest!! There will be pickles EVERYWHERE!! Our Food Truck Family will be serving up some amazing pickle dishes, there will be pickle merch, we’ll have a pickle stand with homemade flavored pickles, pickle crafts, a pickle eating contest, and SO MUCh more!!

■ Chain to River: 2.0 Art Walk and Performance | June 4
Where: Chainlink Gallery Place -> Exploration Place
Join Harvester Arts in welcoming NYC-based visiting artist Aaron Asis and Smack Dab Dance Lab for this unforgettable interactive art event. We’ll start at Chainlink Gallery Place, 121 E. Douglas. Participants should be prepared to walk approximately 1.5 miles. A golf cart will be available for anyone with mobility challenges. The event will culminate with a creative “happening” at Exploration Gallery Place at Exploration Place, 300 N. McLean Blvd. This family-friendly art walk and performance will creatively activate underappreciated spaces in downtown Wichita and along the riverfront for the second time. Chain to River 2.0 will connect two popular Wichita art destinations: Chainlink Gallery Place and Exploration Gallery Place during a walking interactive art performance featuring live dance, music and visual art. Attendees will enjoy space to express their creativity, play and enjoy the works of many talented local artists.

■ Bradley Fair Summer Concert Series | June 1

Join us for our annual 5-week concert series, every Thursday evening in June. This year, enjoy new music genres from soul to musical theatre, and almost everything in between. Live music starts under the sunset at 7:30 PM. Before you find your spot on the Plaza or set up your picnic around the lake, be sure and order takeout from your Bradley Fair favorites or try something new from some local food trucks. Kid-friendly pre-show activities will take place around the lakeside from 6 – 7 PM to keep the little ones entertained while dining al fresco.
■ Sing Along Bingo Fun-raiser for Juniper Arts Academy | June 1
Where: PourHouse
Dazzle us with your musical knowledge and help raise money for Juniper Arts Academy! Join special guest host Carol Hughes and the Badass Women of Wichita Alliance in this fun-raiser that combines music trivia with bingo. Tone-deaf or not, come sing along to the hits of the 60s, 70s, and 80s and win fabulous prizes!

Mark Arts is pleased to present striking, recent work by celebrated Wichita-based contemporary artists Brenda Lichman & Tim Stone. Lichman’s sumptuous ceramics combine tension and chance with form and surface. Luminous silhouettes of place and space are captured in Stone’s paintings, initiating ephemeral environments that feel at once familiar and distant. Concepts of constant change are evident throughout both artists’ practices, drawing the viewer into a captivating journey of flux and transformation.

The Great Plains Nature Center welcomes the community to its annual O.K. Kids (Outdoor Kansas Kids) event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 3rd at 6232 E. 29th St. North in Wichita. Highlighting our feathered friends has never been so fun! Join us at our annual Outdoor Kansas Kids event! Special guests include Pheasants Forever, Botanica, Flatland Flyfishers, Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, Cub Scouts, and so many more! Families will be able to join in on crafts, bird hikes, archery, fishing, and prize drawings, along with loads of educational stations and opportunities. Sponsored by Kansas Wildscape Foundation. ■ Wichita Gladiator Dash | June 3

The Wichita Gladiator Dash is back for its eleventh year. The 5K obstacle run will be held on June 3, 2023 at the Sedgwick County Park. Competitors will traverse land, water, mud and more than 20 unique obstacles during the action-packed fun run. The course is challenging, but designed for all fitness levels and ages. The 3rd annual Sunset Fest 3 is finally coming up!! Us at Sunset Motel throw this event every year to bring the community together for a big party, this time to start the summer off right Woodstock Vibes. Every year gets better and better! We will have an epic light display as well as booming sound from some of Wichita’s most dope acts, with performances from some epic talent coming to grace the stage🍻🎶 some of these guys are traveling from out of town to come and rock out at this dope Festival thrown for our city. We will have plenty to do and see like vendors, live artists, a food truck, a beer garden, and maybe even a cocktail table for some fine drinkin’ to wash it down, also gonna have some cool yard games to play while catching a vibe.

Another amazing gathering brought to you by ICT Big Gay Market and your favorite businesses in Riverside!! A safe space for everyone in our LGBTQIA community that is non-alcoholic and fun activities for both children & adults! We’ll be doing our Fairy Find activity so kids can frolic between the tents with something to do while parents have a chance to shop! Also once they gather all their Fairy stamps they get a sacred Fairy scroll with a crystal & magical activities to do at home (with parents supervision). Also we will be creating a fun system were you can support our local LGBTQIA businesses all year long! There will be a planned market map to be sure there is an opportunity to check out all the business in all the buildings we have at the ICT Big Gay Market!!
