In a press release put out Thursday morning, Hawaiian Bros signed its fourth franchise agreement with Ohana Restaurant Group LLC, owned/operated by Zach Fugate and cousins Nick and Nathan Blasi, in May 2023. The newly formed Ohana Restaurant Group LLC will develop seven additional Hawaiian Bros restaurants across four markets.

Fugate along with his partners, Nick and Nathan Blasi, will develop restaurants in the following markets: Wichita, KS; Joplin and Springfield, MO; and the Arkansas cities of Bentonville, Fayetteville, Rogers, Springdale, and Ft. Smith.
Nick and Nathan Blasi also operate Marine World in Wichita.
Hawaiian Bros is a Kansas City-based chain specializing in plate lunch, a meal that usually includes a scoop of white rice, a scoop of macaroni salad and meat like Kalua pork or grilled chicken. The meal became popular in Hawaii in the late 1800s, when workers would make plates of leftover meat and rice. Just drive up to the Kansas City area and you’ll find plenty of locations.
No timetable was shared on when Hawaiian Bros will officially arrive in Wichita.
