One of October’s biggest weekend events of the year, ICT Bloktoberfest, has some significant changes in store for 2023.
The most noticeable one is the move to Naftzger Park. In past years, the 2-day event has taken place at Union Station. This year, Naftzger Park, which should provide more space, will be transformed into a Biergarten and taken over by music, food, games, and of course – BIER! The tap trucks will be loaded with a selection of local, regional and German beers.
ICT Bloktoberfest takes place on October 13 and 14. As always, the event is loaded with tons to see and do for free. Local vendors will have food and drink for sale, and there is a beer tasting that is a ticketed event. It’s a kid and dog-friendly event, so bring the entire family, even your furry friends.

Friday, October 13:
4pm – 10pm: Event Grounds Open / Food trucks / Tap Trucks & Booze Trucks / Axe Throwing
5pm: DJ Duggar
5pm – 9pm: VIP Beer Tasting
6pm – 9pm: GA Beer Tasting
Saturday, October 14:
7am – 11am: Walk to end Alzheimer’s
Noon – 8pm: Vendor Market
Noon – 10pm: Food Trucks / Tap Trucks & Booze Trucks / Axe Throwing
2pm: Weiner Dog Races
3pm: Musical Chairs
4pm: Stein Hoist
5pm: Dad Bod Contest
6:30pm – 9:30pm: Llew Brown Band
As noted earlier, Friday beer tasting is a ticketed event and for the 21+ crowd. Tickets cost $50 and include a commemorative tasting class with open sampling from over 99 beers! This ticket allows access from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A VIP Beer Fest ticket runs $100 includes a 20oz ceramic stein, limited edition beers, small bites & desserts, tequila tasting, and early entry to the event at 5 p.m.
