The tumultuous era of City Nightz is now over, as the building at 222 N. Washington has been put up for auction.
The nightclub that sat east of Old Town closed in early July following a shooting where multiple people were shot. In the aftermath, the Wichita police chief suspended the business license for 30 days.
Then in early August, City Nightz decided to close for good instead of attempting to reopen.
J.P. Weigand now has the building up for auction. Those interested have until Sept. 26 to bid on the space, where the current bid is at $75,000.
