It’s been a while since we’ve done a tournament bracket. Our Most Liked Series has covered tacos, burgers, BBQ, pizza and donuts. Now it’s time to move on to the latest category that is perfect with fall’s arrival. It’s time to unveil the Wichita’s Most Liked Coffee tournament bracket.
A tournament bracket featuring a whopping 32 coffee shops and cafes that are all in Wichita. I kept this strictly to Wichita because it was an even 32 places. I also wanted to make sure an entire city like Derby, Valley Center, or Haysville didn’t come in and outvote one restaurant strictly because it was in their hometown.
The point of this whole bracket is three-fold:
- Introduce you all to the number of options many of you may have never heard of.
- Use this platform of Wichita By E.B. to help give some exposure to places that rarely get love elsewhere.
- Have a little fun in the name of coffee.
REMEMBER, the results of this post don’t necessarily mean they are the best coffee, but more of which place has the most online support, thus Most Liked. Like all votes, it’s really just a popularity contest, but one I hope you can all have fun with. This all comes down to social media support on Facebook, where the voting will be held. In the end, I hope you can find some new coffee options you may have never heard of or tried! And just like the previous bracket, I will not be voting in any bracket. This will be left strictly to the general audience.
I do have ONE REQUEST. When you vote, ask yourself if you’re voting for what you truly feel is the BEST COFFEE, or if you’re just voting to support said place based on other reasons. It’s up to you what criteria you consider for the best coffee; this isn’t rocket science. Just have some fun. Obviously, there is no way to regulate it but I just wanted to throw that out there.
Starting Monday, you will find a poll featuring matchups on the Wichita By E.B. Facebook page to vote for your favorite.
So with that said, here’s the unveiling of the bracket.
The quest for 32 down to 1 begins now. May the best coffee shop win.
