Revisiting Tai Chi Bubble Tea for ramen

I’ll be honest with you all, my first visit to Tai Chi Bubble Tea was a little underwhelming, but I’ve gone back three different times to try some of their other dishes. After all, all restaurants deserve a revisited review.

On my first visit, I went with a poke bowl but wasn’t too pleased with it. So on the next few visits, it took place with a mix of friends and family.

Each of the last three times, I went with the ramen. I’ve had their spicy tonkotsu, spicy miso, and shoyu soup bases with chicken, pork belly and beef.

My favorite combination was either the spicy miso or spicy tonkotsu bases with pork belly and always the egg. The first time I had their ramen, I was instantly hooked. I found the spicy miso to have just the right bit of heat to it. Living in northwest Wichita, there aren’t too many options for this type of food so I was happy to have it around.

When the weather was colder and my family was looking for dinner, this became a convenient and delicious option for us. So after that first time, I made myself a repeat customer a couple more times over the course of the next month or so. For me, that’s saying a lot because I typically try to bounce around to different restaurants and rarely visit the same ones in the same month span.

Taichi Bubble Tea

Dining in was also a favorite of mine because I loved how their bowls had an indention for the chopsticks and the ladles for soup were so convenient.

On another visit, I had the sushi burrito with salmon. I enjoyed it but like my poke bowl, I just found it to be limited on the amount of protein inside the burrito. It made me miss Bento Cafe on Ridge Road.

Aside from the poke and the sushi burrito, the ramen kept me coming back and will continue to do so.

I want to add, the customer service at Taichi is so fantastic. They are quick, convenient and have such a nice staff of employees there.

Here’s the menu:

Happy Dining,
Eddy
