So what’s going on in Wichita this weekend besides the start of the college basketball season?
Well for those that know me personally, they know I’m a big fan of charity events, especially events that go to help out children who are in need.
Mark you calendars for this Saturday, November 14 from 12 – 4 pm at the Holiday Inn at Kellogg & Rock.
There’s an event taking place there called the Delta Market. It’s free to enter and open to the public. It’s put on by the ladies of Delta Delta Delta of Wichita State University.
Delta Market is a shopping event where many local vendors come and display and sell products with 15% of their sales going to charity. There are also over 25 baskets being raffled all with 100% of the funds raised going to the charity.
What charities you ask? Delta Market raises funds for cancer charities: Wichita Victory in the Valley and St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.

On top of all the great vendors on hand, they have some great gift baskets like tickets to the Wichita State/UNLV game, Wichita State/Utah game, Golf Outing at Tallgrass Country Club, Wine Tasting for 6 at Wyldwood Cellars, and much more.
