On Thursday, May 31, the Chalet Sports Bar and Grill will be back open for business and celebrate with a grand opening. Many people may have fond memories of the Chalet. I know I spent many evenings there in the early 2000’s hanging out with friends and am interested to see if the revival can live up to the hype.
Over the past couple months, new owners have been remodeling the building and working on a new menu hoping to reclaim some of the magic made the Chalet a popular destination for years.
We were also able to get our hands on the new menu that includes sandwiches, burgers and pizzas.
The Chalet will be open daily from 11am to 2am. It’s located at 3030 N. Penstemon. Be sure to like them on Facebook for more info.
I’ll have to stop by with friends soon to check out the food and see how it compares to other bars around town.
