Norton’s Brewing Company offering Dill Pickle Soup. If you love pickles, go now

I’m going to keep this relatively brief because blogging from my iPhone is one of the hardest things to do.

Norton’s Brewing Company has been serving Dill Pickle Soup for lunch. If you’ve been following my adventure since there start, you know my affinity for pickles. Whether it’s pickle flavored slushies from sonic, homemade Kool-Aid pickles or pickle candy, I am always game. Hell, I was a groomsmen in a wedding for someone named Dill.

When my sister-in-law gave me the heads up that Dill Pickle Soup was being served at Norton’s, I knew immediately what I was going to have for lunch the next day.

They had two sizes available, a cup and bowl  I went with the larger of the two  I couldn’t even tell you how much it cost. All I know is I loved every second of it. The soup offered that nice dill flavor I was expecting. Mix in some potatoes for substance and you had a meal that no pickle lover would dislike. It had warm bitter undertones to it that were light and not so overbearing. It doesn’t have the straight from the jar pickle taste; there’s a thick and creamy texture to it. For a pickle lover like myself, magical would be the best word to describe. I’m not sure on the availability of it moving forward so you want to call in ahead of time to make sure it’s there.

So get it while you can!
