ABOUT THE OWNERS
Barrel Boys BBQ was started by two friends based out of Wichita, KS. With a passion for BBQ, they headed for Texas to purchase their first smoker and jumped right in to competitive cooking. After great success in local people choice contest, they stepped in to the big leagues in the KCBS (Kansas City BBQ Association) & SCA (Steak Cookers Association) in 2013.Barrel Boys BBQ has won may awards, most notable Derby BBQ festival 2016 and 2017 also perfect 180 score in Brisket & Reserve Grand Champion Turkey at the American Royal World Series Of BBQ. Buddy King owner and head cook for Barrel Boys BBQ decided to open a Catering and food truck business. Letting the public have a taste, of what only judges were getting to eat at competitions. Barrel Boys BBQ cooks the same style they do in competitions for the public now in Wichita KS and surrounding areas. If you’re looking for the highest quality grilled and smoked meats Barrel Boys BBQ is your answer.

Competition Style BBQ , Started in 2016, We cook for the public the same way we do for the judges on the professional  BBQ circuit, while also adding some of our cultural experiences and background to the menu.

WHY THE BUSINESS WAS STARTED
we started this business first and for most because of our love and passion for BBQ, Also to help off set our expenses from competing across the Midwest in professional BBQ circuit.

THE MENU
Our menu changes time to time but here is a few of our staples. Ribs, Brisket, Pork, BBQ Tacos , Nachos, Sliders, Chicken Wings, Salmon or shrimp soba noodle, vinegar slaw , Brisket Beans, Cheesy  Corn, Poblano rice. We are always coming up with something new as well.
