It’s been a good solid four years since my last time to Rostizeria Los Reyes. They are a Mexican restaurant best known for their all day buffet. My original visit back in 2015 wasn’t that impressive but with many changes there, I decided to go back not just once but twice since I’m a glutton for Mexican food.

The buffet runs from open to 5pm during the week (closed on Wednesday though). It cost $7.99 for adults and $2.99 for kids (10 and under). Drinks are not included in the price. A Facebook post noted the buffet runs until 6pm on Sunday but I’m not sure what time its at on Saturdays.
It’s a small buffet line but offers enough variety within the niche of Mexican food. Here’s a look at everything they offer:
The last two visits I made were much better than my original stop in 2015. Like any buffet, you probably won’t like EVERY single item offered but there was enough that I enjoyed. From the slaw, meatballs, fresh tortillas, rice, pasta and some of the meats, there were more hits than misses. They staff did a great job on keeping the stations filled up during the busy lunch hour. Probably the only thing I didn’t like was the ground beef as it was extremely mushy.
Obviously with buffets, it’s not going to compare with the best Mexican food you’ll have but it was very satisfying. I definitely got my $7.99 worth.
From the service aspect, it was a little subpar. Tables were really sticky, drink refills were lacking and the staff seemed to spend more time focused on their phone than on customers…..and that was on two different visits. But if you can get over that since it’s a self-serve buffet, it’s not all that bad.
