Taco Locale is turning one. They originally started as a popup in coordination with Pinole Blue. After many successful events, they decided to open their own restaurant. A year ago, Taco Locale debuted inside the shipping container mall, Revolutsia, wants to celebrate with free food, specials, a giveaway and a chip eating competition.
The event takes place today, September 17 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. If you’ve never been to Taco Locale, Revolutsia is located at 2721 E. Central.
For today’s anniversary party, they will be giving free chips and salsa with every purchase. Their neighbor, Fleur De Vin, will be crafting a special drink menu just for this evening.
All meal purchases made will be automatically entered to win a $50 Taco Locale gift card with the winner being announced at 7:45 p.m.
And for even more fun, they are going to have a Spicy Chip Competition featuring Wichita’s hottest local peppers. The first 10 people to sign up for the spicy chip challenge will have the chance to win Taco Locale swag and bragging rights. That event starts at 6:30 p.m.
