I was craving some carry out and with the festivities of St. Patrick’s Day, I figured why not try out a local establishment that has some Irish pride? The latest review took us to the place in town that markets themselves as the most craft beer in Wichita with 250+ beers, 29 beers on tap, and 90 different Irish Whiskeys. It’s O’Malley’s Irish Pub.

O’Malley’s is a place with great specials. I also find them to be highly underrated in terms of food. For my carryout order, I ordered some bone-in wings along with the Irish Pizza.
I’ve had the Irish Pizza and it’s phenomenal. It’s not for everyone due to the inclusion of corned beef and sauerkraut. I love both, so this pizza was right up my alley. It also had black olives, onions, hamburger and mozzarella cheese.
I loved every second of the pizza minus the black olives; just not a fan of them. The crust had a nice crispy texture to it. There were plenty large chunks of corned beef as advertised in it. The last time I wasn’t too entirely happy with the lack of sauerkraut, but that seemed to have changed as this pizza was loaded with it.
I haven’t seen too many places in town that offer this type of pizza so when I’m feeling corned beef and sauerkraut on a pizza, this is my go to.
The wings weren’t half-bad. I loved the sriracha and mango habanero sauce on them; that was the biggest selling point for me. The wings themselves are pretty miniscule and didn’t pack much meat on them but flavor-wise it was excellent.
I’ve heard really good things about other items like their Reuben so I’m going to have to return soon for that.
