In the next month or so, Wichita Cheesecake Company will vacate the far north kiosk at Union Station to move a couple hundred feet to the former Scooter’s coffee space just east of Union Station.
The move would have left the kiosks pretty bare, but soon someone will be moving in. Candy Cones which has a snow cone operation in Haysville is coming to Wichita. By June, they will have a trailer parked in the brick plaza out in front of the kiosks which will serve their signature snow cones along with other treats.
Candy Cones will also lease the kiosk next to Wichita Cheesecake Company at 701 E. Douglas which once held Noodles To Go. They will use the kiosk as their office and to hold inventory.
They hope to have everything ready to go by the beginning of June.
