National Donut Day Celebration + Kansas Honor Flight Fundraiser | June 3
Where: Hurts Donut
National Donut Day is Friday, June 3rd! This is the donut event you won’t want to miss! For every dozen you buy all day, you’ll be entered in a raffle for FREE DONUTS FOR A YEAR!!! 10% of all sales will be donated to Kansas Honor Flight. Kansas Honor Flight is a great local organization that honors Kansas veterans with a free trip Washington D.C.

1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Every Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m., one or two early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors.

Apparition Blackbeard Grand Opening | June 1

Enter our pirate cove to enjoy souvenir pirate punch bowls, filled with delicious dead man’s treasures, frozen drinks served in coconuts, and GROG! Whether you are here to carve your destiny and sit on the throne as Pirate King or build a sand castle on the beach – we’ve got you covered! This pop up will run Wednesday – Saturday in June & July.

ICT Summit | Building Wichita Powering the Future | June 2
Where: The Vail
The 2022 ICT Summit is all about building Wichita. We’ll bring together Wichita’s Leaders and Future Leaders to discuss where we are now, what we can build on and what’s next for Wichita. We’ll discuss tough questions like what do we need to retain talent here in Wichita? What needs to happen to move forward on Century II and the east bank. The goal of the 2022 ICT Summit is building a better Wichita in the short and long term.

SENSES & Youth Arts Exhibition – Grand Opening | June 3
Where: Envision Art Gallery
The Envision Arts Gallery & Community Engagement Center is proud to present two exhibitions opening on June 3! SENSES : Community Arts Exhibition Inspired by how we experience, navigate, and understand the world through all of our senses. SENSES features a range of artists with disabilities from Wichita, KS. On display in the Main Exhibition Hall.

Kite & Bike Fest | June 4

Join us for an afternoon of kite flying and bike activities with the whole family. Build your own kite and have a chance to fly it, play games, and eat some fun food. All ages welcome. FREE!

ICT Picklefest | June 4
Where: Blood Orchard
Everything Pickle. Pickle eating contest, several food trucks in attendance who will all be selling a pickled item. Come take a picture with Pickleman. Let’s not forget the amazing boutique that is located inside with lots of awesome vendors. The food trucks will have a friendly competition of who has the best pickled item. We will have local celebrity judges to help with that. You won’t want to miss it. Dress up, dress your kids up, even your dog. Come get Pickled with us!

Old Town Farm & Art Market | June 4

ICT Drone Light Show | June 4-5
Where: Exploration Place
Wichita’s first drone light show is coming to Exploration Place on the opening weekend of Riverfest, June 4 & 5, 2022. Known as “the fireworks of the future,” the show will provide breathtaking views of 200 synchronized drones, fully choreographed with music. The event capacity is strictly limited. Relay For Life of Sedgwick County | June 4-5
Where: Sedgwick County Fairgrounds
In 2022, our community will come back together, in-person, for Relay For Life of Sedgwick County. This overnight event (7pm-7am), includes walking the route with your team, luminaria ceremony (to honor those battling cancer and to remember loved ones lost), survivor & caregiver dinner, auction, games, music, food, campsites, and fun. Register a team, join the committee, volunteer, and/or raise funds to fund the future and save lives!

ArtFest at Riverfest! Pop Up Market 2022 | June 4-5
