A brand new Thai food truck opened over the weekend called M.K.M. Authentic Thai Cuisine. Their first outing was at the 2022 Asian Night Market event at Naftzger Park.
At this time, they didn’t have a phone number, Facebook, or any other information available, so I’ll update this blog post when it becomes available. For those curious, they did accept cash and card.
Their menu featured seven different items, and they offered small and large portion sizes for everything. I ended up ordering chicken stick plus fried rice, papaya salad and kanom krok

The Kanom Krok was a Thai coconut pancake of sorts. They were sweet, buttery, soft with a blast of coconut milk flavor. It’s a popular street food and made for a perfect food truck snack to eat at a festival. The chicken on a stick was excellent. It had some spice on it that enhanced the flavor.
My favorite though was the papaya salad, which really packed on the heat but in a flavorful way that didn’t take away from the meal. Papaya salad is such a wonderful treat and I was happy to see it available from a food truck to make it more accessible, hopefully at future events if M.K.M shows up at rallies around town.
All in all, I loved everything I had and 100% for another Thai food truck in town. When I get word of when they’ll be out again, I’ll be sure to share it with all of you.
Here’s the menu:
