One of the more unique food trucks around town and a personal favorite of mine, Brazita Bites, is moving up the ranks to a brick & mortar space. They are having a soft opening event on Saturday, August 13 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., but will technically be open starting Wednesday for a pre-soft opening event to train employees.
Owners Roridgo and Jessica Ciriaco will be operating out of the Glas Haus Racing at 7817 E. 37th St. North. The indoor esports venue doesn’t serve food, so instead, will have Brazita Bites handling that side of things.
People can either grab food from the drive thru on the east side of the building, or go inside to place an order and eat on the patio. If you’ve never tried them before, Brazita Bites specializes in Brazilian street food called coxinha, which are bite-size fried dough balls stuffed with meats and cheese. They also have other dishes such as bite-sized churros which are excellent.
The new space also gives Brazita Bites a commercial kitchen to make orders in bulk. If you’re ever considering ordering a bunch for an event, party, anything, these handheld items are great finger foods.
Hours for Brazita Bites will be Wednesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
Until then, be sure to follow them on Facebook or visit them on their website to place an order.
Happy Dining,
Eddy
