The igloo concept originally started in Wichita at Nortons Brewing Company. Once reservations were made available at Nortons, nearly every time slot for the rest of the year was quickly taken. If you missed out, don’t fret, as Ziggy’s Pizza is introducing Zigloos!
Zigloos are a witty name for their version of the igloo. It’s the same plastic dome that’s heated to protect you from the elements while you’re dining outside on the patio.
The Zigloos will be available at all Ziggy’s locations:
- 2 at Clifton Square (3700 East Douglass Ave)
- 2 at the East store (12115 E 21st Street N.)
- 1 at the West store (8404 W. 13th Street N.)
Each Zigloo is equipped with a heater, comfortable seating, coffee table and Bluetooth speaker. The full food and drink menus will be available with a server who will take care of each group.
The rentals are in 2-hour time slots for groups of 6-8. Reservations can be made via the Ziggy’s website starting Wednesday, Nov. 30 at www.ziggyswichita.com. There is a $30 rental fee which is non-refundable.
Time frames on the reservations will be enforced and patrons are asked to arrive in advance.
You must be at least 21 or older to rent the Zigloo, but people of all ages are welcome inside.
