First Look at Mad Boba in the Douglas Design District

Mad Boba

The latest boba shop has opened in the Douglas Design District. You can find them at 500 E. Douglas Avenue slinging not just boba, but espresso, tea, sandwiches, and an assortment of baked goods. It’s called Mad Boba.

1500 E Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67214

Monday – Saturday: 7am – 2pm
Closed on Sunday

Cash/Card Accepted

Open for lunch and breakfast, it also serves as a place to display the owner’s artwork and others who may be interested in renting space to show theirs as well.

Since I’m not too well versed in the arts, I stuck with the food on this trip. I ordered a club sandwich along with one of their fruit teas.

I was very pleased with the club. The butter croissant was an excellent addition to the club, which gave the sandwich a slight bit of sweetness. A nice layer of turkey breast, ham, and bacon was just the right portion for a light lunch so I wasn’t bloated the rest of the afternoon. For $5 and change, I had zero complaints.

The strawberry fruit tea was a bit lackluster; there wasn’t much strawberry flavor in it. At least not enough for me to constitute it as a strawberry fruit tea.

Either way, Wichita’s newest little mini art gallery of sorts and boba shop is now open for your viewing and tasting pleasure.
