■ Kansas Sneaker Fest | March 25
Where: Charles Koch Arena
Kansas Sneaker Fest is Wichita’s very own sneaker convention. A unique marketplace for sneaker enthusiasts to buy, sell, and trade sneakers amongst each other. The event features vendors selling and displaying the latest and most sought after sneakers, highly coveted vintage clothing, streetwear brands, accessories, and a dynamic live art exhibit. Other activities include a sneaker collection competition amongst the vendors as well as the very popular shoe lacing competition. Attendees also have the opportunity win a pair of highly coveted sneakers by supporting the sock drive which benefits local shelters in the Wichita area.

■ Live In Concert: Dustin Arbuckle & The Damnations | March 24
Where: Augusta Historic Theatre
Join us at the Historic Augusta Theatre, 523 State St, Augusta, KS. It’s just a short drive from Wichita to enjoy amazing live music in a unique atmosphere! Dustin Arbuckle and The Damnations are not a band you can easily associate with one specific genre, and that’s how they planned it. Arbuckle, a veteran of the progressive roots music scene whose singing and harmonica playing first came into prominence in Moreland & Arbuckle, has been kicking up fresh dust with The Damnations since 2017.

■ Take 36: 36 Hour Film Race | March 24
Where: Tallgrass Film Association
In Take 36 we task creatives to conceive, develop, write, shoot, edit, and submit a short film, made in just 36 hours! And just to keep things interesting, we will have some required criteria that must be present in all submitted films! The competition will kick-off on the evening of Friday, March 24 at the Tallgrass Film Center, and wrap up 36 hours later on Sunday morning, March 26. Anyone is welcome to participate! We have had filmmakers from local middle schools and high schools compete as well as seasoned professionals.
■ Women Empowered Local & Global Market | March 24-25
Where: Child Advocacy Center of Sedgwick County
Come on in and join this fun and purposeful community to shop, support, and learn together celebrating International Women’s Month! We’ll also have food and music to enjoy! Yet to come: a schedule of education and storytelling to help us learn as we shop. Learn in community with a variety of women makers, including recent immigrants and refugees.

This round we have invited Eddy from Wichita By E.B. Through his blog, Eddy has brought awareness to our industry and has helped countless restaurants in and around Wichita keep their doors open.
