Dave Turner Memorial Concert | April 8
Where: The Cotillion
This is a benefit show for The American Cancer Society in honor of Dave Turner, a local photographer who blessed many bands over the years with his talent. His family would be honored for you to join us in celebration and memory of a loved father, brother and supporter of the local ICT music scene.

■ Behind The Bar: Guest Bartending at the Monarch | April 10

We’re back with our second round of Behind The Bar: Guest Bartending at The Monarch! As is the custom, we’ve invited someone that is special to us to have some fun and raise money for a charity that is near and dear to their hearts. This round we have invited Eddy from Wichita By E.B. Through his blog, Eddy has brought awareness to our industry and has helped countless restaurants in and around Wichita keep their doors open. He will be bartending with Taben Azad in support of the Wichita Asian Association. Don’t fee like drinking? Stop by and leave them a tip!

Where: Groover Labs
1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Every Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m., one or two early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors.

■ Adventures at the Library: Families of Madagascar | April 6
Where: Derby Public Library
Kindergarten – 2nd graders are invited to explore the animal families found in Madagascar like the adorable lemurs! Program includes books read aloud, a craft, a short video, and snack time.

■ Special Olympics Kansas Bocce, Cornhole, and Resource Fair | April 6
Where: Hyde Park
Special Olympics Kansas will be hosting a bocce, cornhole, and resource fair for Wichita and the surrounding communities. This event is free to the public and will have a free dinner. Community organizations will be tabling to share their resources and services.

■ Brew Bash | April 6
Where: Chicken N Pickle
Join us for a walking beer tasting event benefiting League 42! We will have multiple beer vendors placed around our property for you to try! There will be live music for a jamming good time!

■ Adult Skate Night | April 7

Carousel Skate Center

■ VASANTH 2023 | April 7
Where: Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex
VASANTH is an annual cultural festival that celebrates the arrival of spring and Indian culture. The event includes various cultural performances and traditional Indian cuisines. Join ISA at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 7 at Wichita State University‘s Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex (5015 E. 29th St. N.) as our Indian students showcase their talents and share their culture with the community.

■ First Friday Under the Stars! | April 7
Where: Old Cowtown Museum
VASANTH is an annual cultural festival that celebrates the arrival of spring and Indian culture. The event includes various cultural performances and traditional Indian cuisines. Tulip Festival | April 8
Where: Botanica
Celebrate spring at Botanica with our annual Tulip Festival! Bring out the whole family or come with a group of friends to enjoy the vibrant colors of a spring garden! Tulip Fest takes place on the first three Saturdays in April with events and activities perfect for both kids and adults. This beautiful kick-off to spring features over 70,000 tulips with over 87 varieties, 30 of which have never been grown at Botanica before. It’s a sight that shouldn’t be missed!

■ Art Together: Flora & Fauna | April 8

April’s Art Together, Flora & Fauna, will take kids on an exploration of the natural world. After storytime, participants can create indoor arts & crafts or head outside to transform our sidewalks into canvases with the help of sidewalk chalk. While outside, a truly magical experience begins when the Flint Hills Fairies emerge from our Stickworks Sculpture. Guests will have the chance to meet, interact with, and hear stories from real live fairies!

Friday, April 7

Easter Celebration | 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Where: Towne East Mall
It’s Easter Celebration time! Join us on Friday, April 7 from 11am-12:30pm on the lower level, center court area. The first 25 people will receive an Easter goodie bag! We will have face painting, a craft table, giveaways, and cookie decorating with the Bunny!

Saturday, April 8

EGGsplosion | 10 a.m.
Where: Eberly Farm
Join us for an EGGsplosion of airdropped hunting FUN and capture memories with baby animals on the farm!

The Great Jurassic Egg Hunt | 10 a.m.
Where: Field Station Dinosaurs
The Field Station is celebrating it’s 5th Anniversary but the dinosaurs have started early – so we’re inviting you to join us for the first ever Great Jurassic Egg Hunt! Included with your admission for just one day only, your little one can hunt for eggs and will find small surprises, treats and more inside. Unlike other Easter Egg hunts, this event lasts all day – while supplies last. Join us for original, live shows, games and activities all day as well.

11th Annual Easter Egg Hunt | 10 a.m.
Where: All Star Sports
Take photos with the Easter Bunny! Bring your own basket! Amazing raffle with prizes. Space is limited. A $5 per child donation will benefit local charities. Cash Only Please.

3rd Annual Golden Easter Egg Hunt | 10 a.m. – 11:15 p.m.
Where: McLaughlin Park
The hunt starts at 10:00 AM on April, 8th, 2023 so you will want to arrive a few minutes early to have the best chance of finding one of our $100 golden eggs!

Easter Egg Hunt | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: Mercy Hill Church
Everyone is invited for a FREE Easter Egg Hunt. Egg hunts for children birth to 5th grade. Food, bounce houses, prizes, and much more!

Easter Egg Hunt (Derby) | 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Where: High Park
Participants will be divided by age groups to hunt eggs: 3 and under, 4-5, 6-7 and 8-10. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 11:00am with the youngest group. Then continuing every 5 minutes for the others. Don’t forget to bring your basket!

Easter Celebration | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Are you ready for a day full of egg-citement and fun? I know we are! Come celebrate Easter with us at Chicken N Pickle! There will be an egg hunt, kids crafts, photo ops, and game yard fun. Make sure to grab some delicious brunch while you enjoy the day and grownups make sure to stop by the mimosa bar for a yummy drink. Most importantly don’t forget to play some pickleball with the Easter bunny!

10,000 Easter Egg Hunt | 11 a.m.

You’re invited to our 10,000 Easter egg hunt + inflatables, awesome prizes & photo booth with the Easter Bunny!

Easter Egg Hunt | 1 p.m.
What: Countryside Christian Church
Countryside Christian Church is hosting our annual Easter Egg Hunt on the front lawn on Saturday, April 8 at 1:00 PM. Ages 0-5th grade can participate. Bring the whole family out for a fun afternoon with tons of candy, games and prizes!

Where: Cross Point Free Will Baptist Church
