The area of 29th and Maize Road continues to grow increasingly with the announcement of Nothing Bundt Cake coming to northwest Wichita.
This would be the chain’s second location, following the first one at 2035 N. Rock Road that opened in 2016.
While ground has not been broken, Nothing Bundt Cake will go in a new strip center which will be built at the northeast corner of 29th and Maize Road near the Sam’s Club gas station.
The chain, which started in 1997 in Las Vegas, has since grown to over 500 bakery locations in 40+ states and Canada. It’s the nation’s largest specialty cake company, offering a modern spin on a classic treat.
There’s no timetable of when the second location will open, but by next year 29th and Maize should have this along with Jamba Juice, Auntie Anne’s, Culver’s, and Popeye’s all in the mix.
Stay tuned for more.

This place sounds great, but people should seriously stay away from Jamba Juice. Insanely expensive, not healthy like they pretend to be, and the worst customer service in the industry. If anyone ever has a problem, Jamba will NOT resolve it no matter how hard you try.
