Where: Great Plains Nature Center
The Great Plains Nature Center welcomes the community to our free Spring Break Programs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday-Thursday, March 11th-14th at 6232 E. 29th St. North in Wichita. Each day will feature crafts, games, education stations, a naturalist program at 11am, and guided hikes at 11:45. While this 4 day event is designed for elementary age, it’s open to all ages. We’ll explore food webs including the unique differences between Herbivores, Omnivores, Carnivores, and Decomposers!

■ Spring Fling Character Pop Up Jump & Dance Party | March 13-14
Where: Jumpy Jump Land
Add some character to your kiddos spring break! At Multiple Jumpy Jump Land locations! Each jump is 3pm-4pm

■ 1 Million Cups | March 13

1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Every Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m., one or two early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors.

Known for their holiday performances of The Nutcracker and their Ballet in the Park series, Ballet Wichita has been the premiere local ballet company for 50 years. Ballet Wichita will showcase scenes from their Spring production, Innovations. Set to the Dohnanyi Serenade, this work explores the relationship between technology and dance movement.

 Friends University – Garvey Physical Education Center
Kansas Sneaker Fest is the Largest sneaker convention in Kansas. A unique marketplace for sneaker enthusiasts to buy, sell, and trade sneakers amongst each other. The event features vendors selling and displaying the latest and most sought after sneakers, highly coveted vintage clothing, streetwear brands and accessories. Other activities include a a free throw competition where attendees face off for a chance to win a slew of prizes. Attendees also have the opportunity to win a pair of highly coveted sneakers by supporting the sock drive which benefits local shelters in the Wichita area.
