What does the northwest side lack? My answer would be a plethora of fantastic pizza options. Well one popular Wichita restaurant is hoping to change that with their third location of Ziggy’s Pizza. That’s right, Ziggy’s Pizza is coming west!

The third location will be at the northeast corner of 13th and Tyler. The building seems to have been cursed for anybody who wants to serve pizza. Talliano’s, Uncle Joe’s and the very short-lived Marchello’s have all once resided there. If it’s anybody who isn’t afraid of this challenge, it’s the brothers who revived Clifton Square.
I had a chance to stop by Ziggy’s West before they opened and get a sneak peak at what’s to come for diners. The new location closely resembles Ziggy’s East in ambiance and appeal. Plenty of televisions surround the walls which is perfect timing with football season soon coming.
The same menu available at Ziggy’s East and the original Ziggy’s can also be found at Ziggy’s West. Everything from their square pizzas to sandwiches and to possibly the best wings in town will soon be served to customers out west craving delicious food. We tried a little bit of everything and there was no difference in the quality. Seriously, it’s hard for me to avoid ordering the wings at Ziggy’s. You’ll never find a wing that is inadequate.
This is very exciting news and now another wonderful option when I’m meeting friends out west for dinner and drinks. No firm date has been given for an opening but you can expect this to take place sometime in the first two weeks of September.
