ABOUT THE OWNERS
Pam Bugler was diagnosed Celiac with dairy allergy six years ago. Simon Bugler attended school and worked full time until opening the food trailer in November.
ABOUT THE BUSINESS
(As told by Pam Bugler) Business was founded in March 2016, to secure the name. At the time of starting the business I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do but knew it was going to be food. Grand opening was November 10, 2018. We are a gluten free and dairy free food trailer. Everything is prepared fresh, most items are organic. Nothing comes in the trailer that is not gluten free or dairy free, no cross contamination issues for those with allergies and sensitivities.
WHY THE BUSINESS WAS STARTED
After being diagnosed Celiac, I found the food very bland and lacking in flavor. I was sick of eating a chicken breast and baked potato every time I went out to eat. I was also aware of the cross contamination issues that we face. I wanted foods that were hearty, homecooked and wanted comfort foods. Simon was looking to get into the food industry and it was an opportunity that we both wanted.
THE MENU
Our menu changes each time we are out. We post a couple of days out our location, menu and cost. We want variety and our customers continue to say they do as well. We will introduce a multiple item menu in the spring. Several of our customers have offered suggestions on their favorite items and we love preparing what they send us. Desserts are extremely popular and we offer a variety of items. Although we serve gluten free and dairy free, you would never know. The greatest compliment comes from customers who eat at the trailer and come back to tell us just that!
