North Broadway is now down one less Mexican restaurant.
Tacos Y Salsa quietly closed down without much fanfare. I stopped by late last year and really enjoyed their dollar tacos. Unfortunately the restaurant located near the southeast corner of 21st and Broadway couldn’t survive.
With any lack of web presence, no other word of mouth and the immense amount of competition on that area of town, it was an uphill battle they couldn’t overcome even with their everyday dollar taco offer.
I’m guessing it’s highly likely many readers never made it out that way. Fortunately, there’s another Mexican restaurant immediately next door that many of you should try called Mi Lindo Michoacan Mexican Restaurant which was delicious in their own right.
But given the rate of new Mexican restaurants in that area of town, there could be one going in by tomorrow morning.
