With fairs around the country being canceled and the possibility of the Kansas State Fair suffering the same fate, fair foods have become scarce.
Fortunately Ottaway Amusement Co has set up one of their mobile stands for the next week at Pawnee and Seneca at Westway Marketplace. The best part is you can help eat for charity.
Ottaway Amusement Co will be selling fair food like funnel cakes, ice cream and more everyday from July 10 to July 18. They will be set up on the weekdays from 6pm – 9pm and the weekends from 1pm – 9pm.
Here’s how you can help. $2 from every funnel cake purchased will be donated to the Kansas Food Bank. The event was set up by Ottaway, 104.5 The Fox, T95, Country 101.3 KFDI, Radio Lobo 106.5, and Classic Country AM 1070.
I stopped by and there was a big line of people getting their hands on some fried goodness. My order was my staple of a cheesecake and strawberry funnel cake.
I plan on going back for fried Oreos and sundaes. Give me all the fair food!
