Another stop for shaved ice took me to Flamingo Sno Shaved Ice. They are a mobile trailer parked out at Tyler and McCormick just west of the strip center that holds businesses like Side Pockets and Undisputed Nutrition.

There were numerous flavors to choose from; many regular specialty and sugar free options to please palates of all types.
There were five styrofoam cup sizes to choose from. Prices ranged between $2.50 and $6.50. There were additional options like cream topping, sour spray, and extra flavors for 50-cents each. I opted for cream topping on mine.
Recently root beer shaved ice has been my jam, so I went with that along with the cream topping.
The texture of the shave ice was your traditional crunchy ice that I grew up on. Some parts were smooth and other parts were harder parts of ice. While it wasn’t your extremely smooth shaved ice, the root beer flavor was noticeably there and delicious.
Ultimately, it comes down to your preference on how you like your shaved ice. With multiple flavors to choose from, surely shaved ice fans will find one they’d enjoy.
