For the latest installment in the “Must Try Menu Item” I stopped by the new location for Noble House Hawaiian Restaurant. They moved to 3031 E Central Ave and I had yet to swing over so I made it a point to drop by. As with this segment, it’s a time for me to make a recommendation on what to order on your visits. This time, we are talking oysters!
Yes. Noble House Hawaiian Restaurant serves oysters on the half shell at a half dozen for $7.99 and a dozen for $14.99. On my most recent visit, I ordered half dozen for dine in. They were prepared a little different from many places I’ve been to.
Ponzu sauce was poured into each shell and the oysters were topped with sriracha and green onions. I loved the addition of ponzu sauce. It’s a great sauce that brought all sorts of different flavors. It was a little salty, bitter, sweet and sour all at once. Once topped with the sriracha to give it some bite, the oysters were a slurpy success. I loved every second of it.
Had I not ordered more food, I would have asked for more oysters.
