What to expect at White Crow Cider Company

While continuing our adventures around Wichita, we came across a new business called White Crow Cider Company. They are an urban cidery that crafts modern hard cider in a variety of flavors and seasonal offerings. Hard ciders of this sort aren’t something we’ve seen much of around town and thought it’d make for a fun afternoon to visit their tap room.

While they have a Rock Road address, it’s not seen off of the road. It’s located in a building just west of Haverty’s Furniture. There’s a small little alley way in between Natural Grocers and Haverty’s Furniture. We took that road all the way to the back and found White Crow Cider Company on the west side of the building.

The building doubles as their production facility and a tap room for guests to come in and try/buy their hard ciders. Currently, the only other place in town to get their hard ciders is The Anchor.

Once inside, we were kindly greeted and received a pretty cool educational lesson on hard ciders. Since we were relatively new to this world of hard ciders, they gave us some free samples of all their ciders to see which ones we liked best.

All of their ciders ranged from dry to sweet. With eight to choose from, we found two we really liked: Little Mac and Mango Bango. The ciders we went with weren’t too dry and offered a slight bit of sweetness to them that we enjoyed.

We ended up purchasing two large growlers to take home.

There were two growler sizes to choose from that cost $4 and $5. To fill them up, it was $10 for the small and $20 for the large. They told us they would also fill up any growlers brought in. So if you have a growler lying around, bring it on in.

White Crow Cider Company made for a fun afternoon stop. We learned about a world of beverages we weren’t accustomed to and find more new things in Wichita. It was a win/win. And the owners were very engaging throughout the afternoon; both down-to-earth people just trying to share their passion with others.

Here’s their current menu:

Happy Dining,
