If you know me, you know that I love zany fusion foods. Dishes that most people may not typically think of but once put together, it’s magic. One of my favorite was a Cheetos Sushi Burrito that used to be available at PokeMix which closed earlier this year. Well, its back for a limited time at their sister restaurant out east at Crafted.

The Cheetos sushi burrito is best explained in this video put together by Telehue Food.
After many requests for it at Crafted, the owners decided to bring it back for a limited time. I stopped in to get a refresher on one of my favorite fusion dishes that combines three of my favorite things into one.
It’s quite a filling dish that should suffice any big appetite or be enough to split with a friend with smaller appetites. Like the poke bowls at Crafted, the burrito can be crafted (pun intended) with all your favorite bases, proteins, mix-ins, and sauce. My favorite is to always go with the salmon. They really pack it up and the Hot Cheetos over the top is light enough to where it doesn’t take away from the meal in terms of stealing the spotlight. It’s like a light seasoning that surprisingly fits well.
And since I was there, I decided to go ahead and try their new fall drinks. The girl’s favorite was the Nutella cocoa.
Meanwhile, I had to go with the Pumpkin Shakarado since I’m all about the pumpkin life in October.
Get your Cheetos sushi burrito while you can. For more, follow Crafted on Facebook.
Happy Dining,
