It’s been a long time since I last stopped in El Dorado to eat. The city just 30 minutes outside Wichita deserved some Wichita By E.B. love so I set out to try some different restaurants and food trucks that I’ve never had before. The first stop for me was Ori Hibachi. They are a Japanese food truck that serves hibachi and sushi.

The first thing I noticed when I walked up to the food truck was how incredibly friendly the guys working the truck were. Bonus points for having such positive vibes on a brutally hot afternoon.
Knowing I had a big day of eating ahead of me, I kept my order minimal. I was intrigued by sushi from a food truck and pulled the trigger. The Wildcats Roll which was spicy tuna, crunch, cream cheese topped with spicy crab meat, spicy sauce and eel sauce caught my eye.
I placed the order, they handed me a buzzer and I went back to my car to wait. In about 5-10 minutes, my sushi was ready.
The Wildcats Rolls consisted of eight big plump pieces filled with tons of spicy tuna. It was way more filling than I had expected. I’m not one to usually order sushi rolls with cream cheese in it but this was very light on that. Most of the flavor was focused on the tuna and spicy and eel sauces that topped it. I was pleasantly surprised. The roll was more than enough for someone who’s looking for a quick simple lunch to get them through the day.
