Wichita State Athletics is excited to announce our first annual Say “Hey” & Signatures event happening at Charles Koch Arena! This free event will allow Shocker fans to hear from new head coaches Paul Mills and Terry Nooner and snag an autograph from all of their favorite Shocker Basketball student-athletes. There is no cost to attend. Doors will open at 6:30pm. Sharpies and commemorative autograph sheets will be provided. Two lucky fans that attend the event will win a pair of 2023-24 season tickets!

1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Every Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m., one or two early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors.

■ Hey Doc, Are You Listening? Panel Discussion | June 28

Join the fun as the GREAT RACE stops in Wichita, Kansas, as part of a nine-day rally from St. Augustine, Florida to Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is a FREE event, with a family-friendly atmosphere, so bring the kids and welcome more than 120 classic cars and trucks (1974 and earlier) as they roll into town. You’ll have easy access to the cars, drivers and navigators. In some cases, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see cars that are more than 100 years old, competing in this long-distance rally. There are also high-end sports cars, muscle cars, classics and hot rods. The Great Race only be in town for a short time, so don’t miss your chance to check out the old cars!

Live Performance by McKayla Stacey: From Andover to Hollywood, and everywhere in between, McKayla Stacey is a star. Many will recognize McKayla from her audition on American Idol season 21, which earned her a golden ticket, but this local music sensation has been belting it out on stage in Wichita for years.
