It’s been many years since I last stepped into Club Billiards. Many changes have taken place since my last visit, and one of those was the addition of lunch.

Lunch was a new addition to the popular pool hall in the Delano District. In recent weeks, they’ve been toying around with the menu and were finally ready to go public with diners to come in and try it out.
I went the moment I heard they had lunch. Unfortunately, Club Billiards didn’t have menus available. So I ordered the only thing they had that afternoon, which was a cheeseburger and onion rings.
At first glance, one may question the burger, but let me tell you, the photographer sucked (a.k.a. me) and it certainly exceeded my expectations.
The patty was thick and juicy. It was the perfect size for lunch. This burger was simple, yet executed well; no frills or gimmicks. A handful of onion rings were my side and, like the burger, simple yet well done. As far as bar food goes, Club Billiards did an impressive job.
When I get a copy of the menu, I’ll be sure to pass it on.
