Kim’s Noodles Bar & Grill Revisited

Kim's Noodles Bar & Grill

It’s been a year since I last reviewed Kim’s Noodles Bar & Grill.

That’s not to say I haven’t been there since they opened. Because I’ve been back plenty of times, but with the colder weather starting to arrive, it felt like a good time to write about what is my favorite pho in town.

My latest visit was very reminiscent of our original stop when Kim’s Noodles Bar & Grill first opened. We ordered pho and spring rolls on this visit instead of pho and egg rolls.

Like our original visit, we received our pho in a very timely manner over lunch. And just like last time, I had the combination bowl with rare steak, brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatball. And to no surprise, it was delicious and required very little doctoring of the broth. When the bowl was brought to my table, I started taking big spoonfuls of broth and slurping away. It was incredibly rich, warming and put me in a trance that I nearly forgot to eat any of the noodles or proteins in my bowl. Kim’s Noodles Bar & Grill’s pho broth is my favorite in town. There’s no question about it; I love it and regret not purchasing a house closer to them.

And similar to last time, they forgot our appetizers. Only this time, we reminded them and they made sure to bring it out. I’m not sure what it is with Kim’s Noodles Bar & Grill, but they seem to forget our apps, even though the pho more than makes up for it.

For what it’s worth, the spring rolls were great and would have been better before our main entrée, as we were nearly full and this just put us over.

Aside from our appetizer mishaps, we greatly enjoy Kim’s Noodles Bar & Grill. With pho season finally here, this is a stop everyone should make at least once to get their fill of the popular Vietnamese soup dish.
